New Heavy-Duty Drum Mulcher from Blue Diamond Enhances Skid-Steer and Track Loader Performance

The Heavy Duty Drum Mulcher series is engineered to deliver top-tier performance on both low- and high-flow systems, accommodating hydraulic flow rates between 22 and 46 gallons per minute.

A newly developed heavy-duty drum mulcher attachment offers powerful performance and adaptability for use with a broad range of skid steers and compact track loaders. Engineered for both low- and high-flow hydraulic systems, it supports flow rates between 22 and 46 gallons per minute, making it ideal for a variety of land clearing and vegetation management tasks. The compact 60-inch drum efficiently processes brush, saplings, large limbs, and stumps, delivering a clean, finished result.

This attachment is available in eight configuration options, tailored to fit different machine setups and operator preferences. Customization choices include:

  • A 60-inch cutting drum with the option of carbide or reversible chipping teeth

  • A hydraulic gate for improved control over discharged material

  • Multiple hydraulic line setups (3-line or 5-line configurations)

  • Compatibility with either 1/2-inch or 3/4-inch hydraulic couplers

  • High-grade steel frame built for tough terrain and heavy-duty use

Designed with productivity in mind, the mulcher integrates a rotor featuring replaceable shafts and fixed teeth arranged in a helical pattern, along with “P-CUT” bite limiters to regulate cut size and increase efficiency. Additional features such as Polychain carbon fiber belts and an ESB system positioned between the motor and pulleys help optimize performance.

This attachment is powered by a variable displacement hydraulic piston motor, equipped with an integrated anti-cavitation valve. Weighing 2,105 pounds, it also includes adjustable push bars and two-position skid shoes for accurate ground engagement.

Backed by a one-year warranty and a customer satisfaction guarantee, this mulcher is built to deliver high-quality results and long-term reliability in land clearing operations.
