New Consultation Program from Ford Pro Helps Maximize EV Incentives
The initiative is designed to assist commercial fleet operators in uncovering available incentives at the federal, state, and local levels for major investments such as electric vehicles and charging equipment.
A new consultation service has been launched to assist commercial fleet operators in identifying and securing financial incentives for electric vehicles and charging infrastructure. This offering is tailored to help businesses uncover local, state, and federal funding opportunities they may otherwise overlook.
Since its introduction, the service has already helped users uncover more than $40,000 in incentives for charging solutions and over $1.5 million in potential savings for electric vehicle acquisitions. These figures highlight the scale of funding available—yet often underutilized—by commercial operators transitioning to cleaner fleets.
According to recent data, available rebate programs across the country have grown by 11% since 2024. Despite widespread availability—covering nearly 78% of the U.S.—many organizations find it difficult to keep track of constantly changing incentive programs, which often vary by location and utility provider.
With a mix of federal tax breaks, utility rebates, and state-level grant opportunities, the landscape can be complex. Many fleet operators lack the internal bandwidth or expertise to stay informed and apply for the funding they qualify for.
A recent industry survey involving over 1,200 fleet managers revealed that only 46% had applied for government-backed incentives, while just 21% had pursued available grant funding for electric vehicle purchases. This points to a significant knowledge and support gap, leaving many businesses unaware of financial tools like tax credits, rebates, and vouchers that could ease the transition to electric mobility.
To simplify this process, the new consultation program was developed to eliminate the guesswork and streamline the identification of relevant incentives based on a company’s fleet size, location, and vehicle needs.
This rollout follows the success of a previously launched evaluation tool that analyzed over 38,000 fleet vehicles, determining that 53% were viable candidates for electrification. The findings suggest major opportunities for businesses to reduce emissions while lowering long-term operational costs.
With expertise and guidance now readily available, this service empowers fleet operators to make informed decisions and capture the full range of benefits tied to clean transportation initiatives. Additional details can be accessed through the official platform’s website.
